ACCESSIBILITY

Festival Site Information In It Together Festival is an open green-field site with luscious green grass and a series of alternating inclines scattered throughout. While there will be occasional sheltered areas (some stalls and marquees), it is an open-air event. Ground conditions are therefore weather dependent; if we experience extreme weather the ground may become muddy and the grass may well get churned up. Whilst the festival team will do what they can to prevent this, it does mean that mobility across the site may become compromised. We ask you to consider this and are aware when purchasing a ticket.
Personal Assistant Tickets We run a complimentary personal assistant ticketing scheme for our customers who wouldn't be able to attend the festival without the aid of another person. You need to be in receipt of PIP/DLA or equivalent to qualify.
Accessibility Campsite A less busy space for those who cannot be in the main campsites and need a calmer environment with more room, and closer proximity to the Arena. The campsite has accessible toilets and an accessible shower and High Dependency Unit. There is also a charging tent for medical and mobility devices.
As we have so many people needing to use this space, we have had to limit group numbers to a total of four people per registered accessibility guest. (This has to include the registered person and their PA. We also ask that your group gets into the spirit of things and aims to share their tent or live in vehicle. By doing this it means that we have room for those that really need the space to be able to attend).
This area is full for this year's festival.
Accessible Parking There is Blue Badge Accessible Parking situated near the access campsite car park and there is a small amount of space reserved for day customers.
Viewing Platform
We have one Viewing Platform available by the Main Stage for those who, due to their disability, need to be in a raised space or out of a crowd to watch the main music acts. (Please be aware this does work on a first come first served basis).
Accessible Toilets All our accessible toilets are situated either in the accessible campsite or scattered around the site at the other toilet blocks. We also have a sterile  High Dependency Changing unit in the Accessible Campsite.
Assistance Dogs We welcome assistance dogs on the site. There will be an area provided for toileting and drinking. Please let us know on your form if you are bringing one in advance of the event. (Please note you will be required to send in some evidence of assistance dog training).
Visual Information For our guests who find accessing visual information a barrier, please get in contact to let us know if you need alternative formats/guidance. If you need help to do this, or it in an alternative format please contact Cheryl on 07893948972 who will pass on your details to the Access Team for a call back. When at the festival, there will be large print programmes if requested in advance.
Strobes Please note that strobe effects may be used at this event. However, there will not be any specific announcements prior to their use.
Medical Services and Welfare Area We have an onsite Medical Tent with trained First Aiders should customers need this service.
Our Policy: We take our accessibility seriously and therefore there will be a small number of Mystery Shopper tickets available to disabled customers. For more information please go to the AIE website here.
In addition, within the Accessibility Team we always try to recruit people with their own accessibility needs. This helps us to create a more diverse team and helps us to improve our offering by incorporating those that have lived experience. If you would like to come and volunteer with us, please contact team@accessible-events.co.uk
(Please note that the accessible facilities are only available to festival attendees with long term disabilities and chronic health conditions. This therefore means that those with short term injuries - such as broken legs or recent operations - and pregnancy sadly do not qualify).
HOW TO BOOK ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES: Applications for accessibility requests are now open. To apply, please email accessibility@escaperecords.co.uk
  • You can register to use any of the facilities mentioned above, or if you have any other requests, you'll be able to follow the steps below:
  • Please include your valid ticket reference number and submit your supporting evidence.
  • Once submitted, the Access Team will start processing requests from December.
